Longleaf to Lighthouse - Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition - Men's Floridian Shirt

The Longleaf to Lighthouse Expedition, organized by the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation, was a week-long journey through some of the Corridor’s most critical connections. The Expedition follows a journey from the Red Hills of southern Georgia through a mosaic of longleaf pine forests, quail country, hardwood hammocks, and floodplain swamps before continuing along the St. Marks River to the coastal marshes of Apalachee Bay, finishing at the St. Marks Lighthouse. This route highlights one of the Southeast’s most important ecological linkages, a landscape that serves as both a wildlife and water bridge between states. Together, these working lands, public and private forests, and protected waters demonstrate how stewardship across an entire watershed sustains the region’s wildlife, water, and way of life. 

This design highlights some of the ecosystems visited on the expedition and the wildlife that inhabit them. The pattern starts at the top in the Red Hills, down through Tallahassee, to the Cypress Swamp, through Wakulla Springs, and ending in the salt marshes of the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. This pattern was designed in collaboration with the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation. 

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these shirts are donated back to the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation.
